Keep your delicious bakes fresher for longer with Bako’s vegetable glycerine.
Adding just a few teaspoons of this glycerine to your cake batters can help lock in moisture, keeping that freshly baked texture for longer. We recommend adding 1 teaspoon of glycerine per 100g of flour.
Glycerine can also be added to royal icing to prevent it from drying too hard. We recommend adding 1 teaspoon of glycerine per 500g of icing, once it has reached a stiff peak.
